  Same experience as disgruntled customer above. Dishwasher that looked 2nd hand. Dented, scratched and spray arm missing. Charged me delivery saying their engineer had inspected the machine and found no problems. Liars and thieves. Currently in the hands of Visa card chargeback scheme.

• Slight problem but A******** Service & customer support

  I ordered a steam-works steam generator from appliance universe which was dispatched the next day with tracking number. However it did not arrive. After contacting DHL we learned that it was a temp driver and there was no sig. We could not claim through them so basically i thought i was out of luck. However appliance universe has kindly decided to send me a replacement free of charge and there customer support was perfect. 100% recommended.

• Disgruntled Customer

  I have recently had a really bad experience with this company. I bought a washing machine online and when it arrived it looked like it had done ten rounds with Tyson. When I contacted them I was told that this was acceptable as 'minor' cosmetic damage. It certainly wasn't minor. I can accept a bump or a scratch but this was unacceptable damage. When I asked for a refund or a replacement, they told me that it would cost me 80 pounds for the courier, even though their terms and conditions state that the supplier is responsible for the shipping costs if the item is damaged or mis-described. In hind sight I wish I'd have bought from a reputable company, rather than a mickey mouse outfit. I only went with them as they promised a quick delivery. My advise is DO NOT do business with this company, especially online as they accept no responsibility for goods that are far worse than what one would describe as MINOR cosmetic damage.
