Walking is probably the most popular activity in West Wales due to the popularity of the Ceredigions coastal path, but there are hundreds of inland walks that are well worth a look
There's is a popular Theatre in Cardigan called Theatr Mwldan which has a constant stream of Art, Film and Theatre. Performances are also held in St Dogmaels Cathedral during the summer months.
You can canoe along stretches of the River Teifi, through dramatic gorges and alongside flower covered banks.
You may be fortunate enough to see otters fishing in the river, but you will have to be very quiet.
The country lanes are full of wild flowers and there are many parts of the nearby coast where you can walk to secluded coves and beaches.
Please don't forget - we are only an e-mail or telephone call away, and will be happy to help you with your holiday plans.
Penffynnon nestles on a gently sloping hill, in an almost secret location, in the quiet holiday village of Aberporth on Cardigan Bay.
Morawel is a subtantial, old, seafront house that has recently completed a major facelift. Having been divided into two apartments for the past 25 years, it has now been restored as a large family house to sleep 10, with 5 bedrooms and four bathrooms .
The kitchen is large and fully equipped, and has a gas/electric range cooker. There is a separate dining room, and the lounge is now upstairs with excellent sea views. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and its own private deck. There are two other ensuite bedrooms, and and the other two share a bathroom
Outside In front of the house is a patio area. To the rear there is parking for two cars (3 at a squeeze) with further private parking across the road. There's also a shower (with warm water); a barbeque: a tiny "lawn"; and a good sized "shed" to store your beach stuff.
The top of the beach is 50m away, the "Ship" pub is 100m around the corner; the shops (Spa, Chemist, Butcher, Launderette and Chinese/chip shop) are a 10/15 min safe (ie not on the roads) walk to other side of the village; and there's a Tesco on the outskirts of Cardigan a 15 min drive away.
