About Us

Unlike many schools, we have been established for over two decades. Our classical, structured and time proven teaching methods allow students to take their passion as far as they wish - with many gaining scholarships for prestigious ballet/dance/performing arts colleges - including Laine, Northern Ballet, Doreen Bird's and Italia Conte. This is a serious training for those who feel serious about the performing arts, with opportunities for professional, certified qualifications and exams with the leading bodies in these fields.

Counterpoint School of Performing Arts offers classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz dance, Musical Theatre, Drama and Singing - All aspects of the Performing Arts, for all ages! We also offer opportunities for regular shows and performances, certified vocational qualifications, and professional direction for a career in any aspect of the performing arts. Teachers are highly experienced/ex-professional and are ISTD/IDTA/BTDA qualified. School established over 25 years!
